Our story
We founded EditingPro 5 years ago while we were still grinding away at our studies in the Columbia University in the City of New York. We noticed that many students had little time to improve their writing before submission. Even after doing the best research on a topic, we used to end up with much lower grades than we deserved because of occasional mistakes or minor formatting drawbacks. The problem only exacerbates when different teachers have different formatting requirements – or English is not a student’s first language.
We wanted to change that.
With this in mind, we established a team of qualified academic editors with an ambition to help students submit better papers and free up a little of their time. What started as a team of two enthusiasts, now is a company of 50 experts who improve 200 papers a day for students around the world.

About our editorial team
During 5+ years of excellent work, we have gathered the best team of proofreaders and editors who specialize in academic writing. Many of our proofreaders and editors have been working with us since the beginning. Others have gained their experience elsewhere. In any case, 3 years of working experience is our minimum requirement. We hire qualified editors with in-depth degrees in the field of linguistics, many of whom are published authors.
